Recharge Oasis is OPEN: Red Light + PEMF Therapy is now available in the Sunset Room at B90. Book through Yoga, DREA to choose your session time and recharge your system. 🌞

Scheduling Flexibility: I personally manage my own admin and may adjust your start time by 15–30 minutes to keep flow in the day. Please check your confirmation email 24 hours before massage for your final appointment time, and subscribe to text reminders.

Allergy Alert: There may be friendly yoga dogs around B90—please let me know if you have sensitivities so we can accommodate you comfortably. 🐾

Seasonal Update: As the little island drifts into hibernation, I’ll be returning to Hornby in the spring to reopen Massage Oasis by the sea. 🌸

🌿 About Ali-Joy Cross, RMT

Ali-Joy Cross, RMT, is a fascia-based healing practitioner and registered massage therapist who bridges ancient wisdom with modern understanding of the body’s connective tissue and energetic flow. With over two decades of experience, she offers deeply restorative sessions that unwind tension, release emotion, and support transformation on physical, emotional, and ancestral levels.

Her work with Myofascial Release is both structural and spiritual… a gentle unraveling of the stories woven through the fascia. Each session invites the body to remember its natural rhythm and spaciousness, allowing for profound release and renewed vitality.

Ali-Joy’s roots in bodywork span the globe: she trained in Ayurvedic massage in India (using the feet as the primary healing tool), Thai massage with revered masters in Chiang Mai, Japanese Shiatsu, and foundational Traditional Chinese Medicine. She later integrated Craniosacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release, and John Barnes–inspired Myofascial Release into a fluid, intuitive practice uniquely her own.

A lifelong lover of movement and expression, Ali-Joy was both an avid cyclist and competitive rower with the University of Alberta Rowing Club, and, for a touch of theatre, performed in a youth mime troupe. These experiences shaped her deep sensitivity to body language, rhythm, and the subtle communication within movement, now reflected in her healing touch.

Her sessions often include hot crystal stones and guided visualizations to help reset the nervous system and restore harmony.

Holding a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy (Pacific Institute, 2012) and a BFA in Theatre Design, Ali-Joy combines creativity, intuition, and precise anatomical understanding in her work.

At Massage Oasis, her tranquil sanctuary in Vancouver and on Hornby Island, clients are invited to unwind, ground, and grow.
